YOU ARE NOT ALONE
With so many life demands and responsibilities, it is normal to feel disconnected from yourself and others. You may feel less patient and more irritable. You feel tired most of the day, and just can’t find your motivation. You just want to hit life’s pause button.
When you find balance, you can be the best you. You will feel more focused, motivated, and productive. You will be able to make the best decisions for yourself, feel healthier, and gain a better sense of satisfaction in your life.
Many of us struggle day-to-day with these same issues. Kids, teens and adults all go through times of feeling overwhelmed and frustrated with not being able to get what they want out of life.
Does starting therapy feel overwhelming? Take a moment to close your eyes and picture yourself walking in a peaceful scene. Notice the sights, sounds, smells, and sensations. Take a deep breath and let it out slowly. Now open your eyes, and feel a brief moment of calm. In therapy, you will learn how to sustain this feeling of calm and gain tools to walk through your days with a clear mind and calm body. You can then begin to repair relationships, make better choices, and live in a quality world that you have planned for yourself.

STRESS AND ANXIETY
Sometimes common activities that others take for granted can be a struggle when you are unable to focus, drained of energy, irritable, experience sleep difficulties. You may find this affects your relationships, friendships, and work or school performance. Perhaps you cope by isolating yourself, using food for comfort, or wasting hours on screen time such as social media, video gaming, or online videos. When your mind, body, and spirit are out of balance, your struggle intensifies.
